A video-collage displaying the physical and emotional connection between my boyfriend and I; How I feel sparks exploding inside my rib cage when his chest is pressed against mine. I simultaneously created the synth score to further enhance the visuals.
Originally from a small town in Upstate New York, Massimo Avanzato is currently located in New York City attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) to receive a BFA in Photography and a minor in English Writing. His body of work ranges from videography, photography, and poetry, to songwriting, and sound-design. Massimo's diaristic work dissects the complex layers of his identity and self; Often trying to visually capture the essence of an emotion or extreme state of mental being.
